Exciting STRIVE2GETHER – IoT as success factor for sales

By supplementing your classic products with IoT, a multitude of new sales opportunities arise. STRIVE2GETHER at MindSphere World is all about customer benefits that result from the digitalisation of products and the benefits that sales can derive from it. It is an effective enabling workshop for IoT sales, embedded in subsequent support services. The workshop has three success factors: practical presentations, group work and tools.

All workshop participants are now planning concrete IoT activities, e.g.

  • a more coherent approach to IoT-relevant customer roles
  • the IoT empowerment of their own colleagues
  • the promotion of product development with the help of IoT
    There are further support services available afterwards: Follow-up meeting 11.11. (Pilot for IoT sales meetings)

At the beginning of the almost 5-hour workshop there was a short exchange of experiences between the participants. Under the moderation of Helmut Ramsauer, ideas were developed together with sales professionals, sales managers and business developers in this online workshop.

The second half of the workshop consists of interactive work in small groups. Together, the needs of sales-relevant customer roles are worked out. This forms the orientation for IoT-related benefit ideas, which each participant then transfers to his working environment.

The findings were then transferred to their own sales practice.
