Adding IoT to your classic products creates a multitude of new sales opportunities. This workshop addresses the question: How can we best organize ourselves in pre-sales, sales and after-sales in order to create IoT-based benefits together with the customer?
Get new ideas for successful IoT sales that you can put into practice directly after the workshop. The workshop content is transferable to different technologies, products or user industries.
Under the moderation of a digitization expert, we will work together with sales managers, key account managers, pre-sales experts or people in sales-related roles from product development and service on the following topics in this online workshop:
- Is expertise in automation or in software more important for IoT sales?
- Is there a need for a specialist IoT sales team?
- How can after-sales be included in IoT sales?
- Is the division of pre-sales, sales and after-sales even up to date?
- How can one incentivize suitable for IoT sales?
The first half of the workshop will consist of practical presentations by experienced IoT and methodology experts. They form an arc from the further development of the sales role to reports from IoT sales organization processes. The second half of the workshop consists of interactive work in small groups. Together, the needs of sales-related roles and approaches for a new "team play" in IoT sales are worked out. This provides suggestions and orientation for IoT sales organization approaches that each participant can then take back to their company.
For the successful implementation of the workshop, a permanent participation of all participants is required!
